Robotic and automation systems integrator Bauromat UK Limited is pleased to announce it will continue its sponsorship of Shrewsbury-based motorcycle rider, Will Bryant, throughout the 2019 racing season.
Bryant, who last season raced in Pre-Injection 700 championship of the North Gloucester Road Racing Club (NGRRC), celebrated 10 race wins on the way to his maiden championship title.
“We were really pleased for Will after his championship win last season and are really excited to see what he can achieve in 2019” said Managing Director John D’Angelillo
“It’s great to be able to celebrate success with a local talent and to see the Bauromat name appear on circuits all over the country”
For 2019, Bryant will contest in the Two Stroke GP, ran as part of the NGRRC, stepping off his trusty Honda CBR 600 onto a purpose built Tigcraft TZ350 race bike with a two stroke Yamaha engine.
Owned by bike building enthusiast Mike Holt, who has over 50 years of experience on the racing scene and has built race engines for top riders over the years, Holt will be able to lend Bryant and his team an experienced pair of hands in paddock.
“It’s great to be back on the bike for 2019 and I’m glad to have Bauromat onboard again” said Bryant
“I want to try and get to grips with the bike as quickly as possible and get up to race pace.
“The bike is like nothing I’ve ridden before so I’m aware I’ve got a lot of learning to do but I’m keen for the new challenge! Hopefully I can carry on the momentum from last year’s championship win.”
Like last season’s Pre-injection 700 championship, the Two Stroke GP Championship will be contested over 8 rounds at circuits across the country, with 2 championship races, a sprint race as well as qualifying and practice sessions of the course of two days.
The first meeting takes place at Brands Hatch on March 15-17th.
