With heavy snow forecast at the Kent circuit over the weekend, the North Gloucester Road Racing Championship opted to cancel all racing as a precaution, but maintained the option for riders to test on the Friday.
"It was just a case of making the most of the day we had" said Bryant.
"I managed to get plenty of time on track but it was difficult to get into a good flow as the weather kept changing."
With timing facilities taken down due to the late cancellation, there were no official testing times recorded but despite that, Bryant was confident on his first official outing on the bike.
"It's hard to pinpoint where everyone is in testing because they all do different things but I felt really confident and was definitely on the pace."
The Brands Hatch meeting is yet to be rescheduled meaning that the first rounds of the season will now take place at Anglesey over April 21st/22nd.
